CEO & ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, Paul Markworth has a BS degree in Forest Management from Purdue University and has over 37 years of experience working with trees and their problems.   Paul is the Tree Care Industry Association's representative to the ANSI Z133 Safety Committee for Arboricultural Operations, the Wisconsin Certification Liaison to the International Society of Arboriculture and on the Board of Directors of the Society of Commercial Arboriculture.   He is a past president of the Wisconsin Arborist Association and has received both their Distinguished Service and Honorary Life Member Awards.

COO & ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, Dave Scharfenberger is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with a BS in Urban Forestry and has over 31 years of experience in the science of tree care.   Dave is on the Board of Directors of the International Society of Arboriculture and the Wisconsin Arborist Association and is an active member of the Tree Care Industry Association and the Wisconsin Landscape Association.   He is a past president of the Wisconsin Arborist Association and is a recipient of their Distinguished Service Award.   Dave has also received the Wisconsin Urban Forestry Council's Distinguished Service Award.

Chief Diagnostician & ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, Tony Arnoldi has over 29 years of field experience in the diagnosis, treatment and maintenance of trees and shrubs.   Tony received his BS degree in Forest Science from the University of Wisconsin.   He is also a licensed and certified pesticide applicator.   Tony is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, the Tree Care Industry Association and the Wisconsin Arborist Association where he served on the Board of Directors for several years.   Tony's projects won the 2003 & 2004 Excellence in Arboriculture Grand Awards.

Diagnostician & ISA Certified Arborist, Jeff Hagfors has been caring for trees for over 22 years.   Jeff graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with a BS degree in Forestry.   He is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture, the Tree Care Industry Association and the Wisconsin Arborist Association.   Jeff is currently the chair of the Wisconsin Arborist Association's fund raising committee for both scholarships and research.   One of Jeff's projects won the 2002 Excellence in Arboriculture Grand Award.

Special Projects Coordinator & ISA Certified Arborist / Municipal Specialist, John Gall is a graduate of Purdue University with a BS in Forest Management and was the first master's candidate to receive a MS degree in Urban Forestry from Purdue.   He has 34 years of experience working with the management of trees, including 20 years heading municipal forestry programs.   John is a past president of the Wisconsin Arborist Association and has received both their Distinguished Service and Honorary Life Member Awards.   He is currently serving as a member of the Wisconsin Urban Foresty Council.

Diagnostician & ISA Certified Arborist, Jean Ferdinandsen graduated from the University of Wisconsin with BS and MS degrees in Horticulture.   She is also a licensed and certified pesticide applicator.   Jean is a member and past president of the Wisconsin Arborist Association, and has received their Distinguished Service Award.   A Life-Member of the International Society of Arboriculture, Jean has over 29 years of experience in the care of trees and shrubs and diagnosing their problems.

Diagnositcian & ISA Certified Arborist, Dominick Bierdek has been caring for trees for over 23 years.   He grew up in his father's tree service business before graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a BS degree in Business Administration.   Dominick then operated his own successful tree care company in the Lake Geneva area before joining the Wachtel Team.   He is a member of the International Society of Arboriculture and the Wisconsin Arborist Association.
